This vigorous variety can be harvestedin 45 days after transplanting.  Easy to cultivate.  Bulb is flattened globe with few leaves.  The skin is green and glossy with waxy, weighing about 0.6kg.  Its flesh is sweet, crisp, succulent and fibreless.  Bulb weighs up to 5kg if managed with fertilizer mulching and still remains good eating quality.  LIU DIH is the number one variety among all kohlrabi varieties.
